We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Definitely not a 4 star hotel , rooms are old, bathroom is also very old, and there is not even an AC, huge difference between the photos you will find in booking and in real when you will be there. Although staff doing their best to make your stay comfortable.
I am very disappointed with this hotel despite claiming to be a 4 star hotel.
Very far from any transport links and basic rooms, the only positive was the staff were responsive and willing to help.
The hotel is very far from transport links 15-20 minute walk to a bus stop and 30 minutes to the closest subway. We asked about a shuttle bus service and were told that this is not something the hotel provides any longer.
Due to being unfamiliar with the area around the hotel we felt that the distance was not safe to walk in the early morning and late evening. As such we had to call taxis to pick and drop us to the subway station each day (quite a costly endeavour).
Onto the rooms! Which were in a word, poor.
The beds were rock solid, no kettle or cups set up in the room they have to be requested at reception (not supplied with any tea/coffee/milk/sugar) and an ancient AC unit that had no heating feature. They were at least clean, I will give them that!
This was an amazing stay. Obviously anything can be perfected but the staff is amazing and the location was perfect for our needs!! Love it , will definitely stay again
Although my husband and I enjoyed our stay in Rome and the breakfast provided, we were really unimpressed by the service provided by the receptionist. We had booked the shuttle service (80 euros) four days in advance, and the receptionist forgot to book it despite her writing the information down. Luckily, we double checked the night before our flight, however we would’ve missed our flight otherwise. The hotel is not centrally located so it wouldve been very difficult to get a taxi early in the morning. The receptionist also tried to argue with my husband and told us it was too late to book the shuttle service, despite it being their mistake. The rooms were also modest, and we felt like it was a two star hotel.
The hotel was good but not great. The room was extremely hot, so we had to keep the window open the entire time we were there. When we asked the reception, they said that there was nothing they could do. In order to get to the city centre you had to walk 6 mins and catch the bus which was great. Breakfast was also good, with lots of different types of croissants and bread.
Overall not worth the money. I could find cheaper properties that provide the same value and are much closer to the center of Rome. Every night, we could hear kids yelling in the hallway and the walls were very thin so we could hear cars coming and going along with any construction or repair going on outside. The staff also neglected to tell us the pricing for laundry service and overall staff were very rude. The Laundry service itself was nice but extremely overpriced. There was no communication and it was something we could not afford and would have declined if prices were discussed with us beforehand. The gentleman at the desk had made us feel as if the service was free. Would highly recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Don’t know where to start… AC not working, bathroom filthy (black mold in shower, towel wet upon arrival, bugs in bathroom, mirror damaged). you can hear others guests coughing in other rooms… bed is stiff. We’ve been here for 2 hours and …
I stayed here for two nights in a double room. The room was quite little but clean and neat. There was a tv (but I didn't use it), and a mini-bar. In the bathroom there was a set for having a shower (bath soap/shampoo and shower cap) and a …
